INDOOR SHOOTING RANGE

• TREAT ALL FIREARMS AS IF THEY ARE LOADED!
  Keep your gun unloaded until you are in your shooting station and ready to shoot.
• Before shooting you must present a valid photo Identification; it will be retained by Best Shot Range Staff for the duration of your shooting session, when renting firearms or equipment, and when having open tabs. Please ask for your ID before departing from the range.
• While in the lobby area, all firearms must be holstered or in a case or bag (unloaded).
• Do not load live ammunition in magazines, in the lobby.
• Always keep firearms pointed down range in a safe direction.
• Keep your finger OFF the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
• Know how your firearm works and how to safely use it. Please ask our staff if you need assistance (Shooting lessons are available by appointment). 
• Fire only from inside your shooting station. Nobody is allowed past the shooting stations or down range.
• Fire only at your target. Do not fire across lanes. Firing at anything other than your target may result in ricochets that could seriously injure or kill you or other shooters.
• You MUST always wear eye and hearing protection before entering the range and while on the range.
• Firearm caliber restrictions:
  • Rifles: largest caliber allowed unsuppressed is .338 Lapua (No green tips, armor piercing, or incendiary rounds).
  • Shotguns: Buckshot and Slugs only.
• No hand-to-hand/lane-to-lane transfer of firearms on the range. Once firearms are in a station, they stay there.
• No alcohol or intoxicating substances may be used prior to entering or while on the range. We have the right to refuse service to anyone.
• All shooters under the age of 21 (with exception to LTC holders) must always be accompanied by someone of age when shooting handguns. Minors must be supervised at all times.
• All shooters under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by someone of age when shooting rifles. Minors must be supervised at all times.
• You must be over the age of 21 to rent handguns and over the age of 18 to rent long guns.
• No food or drinks allowed on the range.
• For their own safety, pregnant women will not be allowed on the range. *
• If you damage the target carrying system at the discretion of the staff, you will be charged $20 for the initial hit and $25 for each additional hit to the target carrier.
• If our line is damaged, a $150 fee will be charged, as this will cause the lane to be out of service for the entire day.
• Best Shot Range LLC reserves the right to inspect all firearms, ammunition, and range bags at any time.
• If a firearm is jammed or malfunctioning, place the gun on the shooting bench with the muzzle pointing down range and ask staff for assistance. DO NOT BRING A JAMMED OR MALFUNCTION FIREARM INTO THE LOBBY!
• Commands issued by range staff must be followed immediately.
• Do not place brass casings in the trash can. Place trash in the appropriate receptacle.
• There will be no drawing from holsters unless approved by range staff.
• All rifles must have sights (irons, scopes, or optics). If your rifle is not sighted-in, ask Best Shot Range Staff for assistance.
• Only shoot rifles while sitting at a bench.
• 2-3 seconds between shots in the rifle range. Rapid or uncontrolled shooting will be caused for removal from the range with no refund.
